This property sits in a quiet village mid way between Limoges and the huge Lac de Vassiviere, both about half an hour away. The village has a primary school, Mairie and a great bar/restaurant. St Leonard is the nearest town, it has a gorgeous medieval centre and all services. The nearest beach from the property is a five minute drive away in the next village which also has all basic shops.

The barn belonging to the property (to the left of the house) is attached to the neighbour’s barn which in turn is attached to his house. The two up, two down house is not large; on the ground floor are a small kitchen and a small sitting room, both just big enough to swing a cat! Upstairs are two bedrooms, a very basic bathroom with bath, sink, bidet and wc. Above, in the attic there is plenty of headroom for further accommodation.

This house is presently lived in by an elderly couple who last decorated 30 years ago….. it is heated by a wood burning stove in the kitchen. It could be greatly improved and is just about habitable.

The attached barn measures about 10 metres by 8 metres - 80 m² . Attached to the right side of the house is a small hangar in a state of rear collapse and a bread oven.

Opposite the house is another larger barn that measures about 12 metres by 12 metres - 144 m² . The garden has a neglected feel, there is a productive vegetable area and a field, in all just under a hectare - 2.5 acres. Plenty of scope here – plenty of work too!
