Montluçon
was a Bourbon fief occupying an advance position on the
line between the Kingdom of France and English Aquitaine,
and is still today dominated by its XVth century castle.

establishment of numerous industries in the Montluçon
basin. Today, the town still has major industries, and
is also the stage for great popular festivities such as
the Bœuf Villé carnival and the medieval festival…

Known throughout the world thanks to its reputation
as the ‘Queen of Spas’ and its racecourse, Vichy is

for its festivities and plays the sports card with its
top-of-the-range facilities. Every year the town plays
host to prestigious championships, including rowing,
jet-skiing, water-skiing and more…
